Tribute to my Sweet Mama, Aeroplane Mary Daunemigha

Oh! my virtuous and sweet mama far above rubbies. Your death came as a shock to me. I visited your daughter to pick some souvenirs on that faithful day 24 of February 2024 and as I usually asked, “how is my mama”. She looked at me twice and responded “your mama just passed on this morning”. My system and body reacted immediately but with faith that she has just been translated I responded and said “May her soul rest in peace”.

Mama has been very industrious even in her old age. She was a seller of Holandis wrappers, Head-gears, materials for blouses and many more. Mama was an exemplary woman compared to others. She was a very neat woman, diligent and a very good counselor or adviser to people around her neighbourhood. She was very friendly to family members and friends. I always admired her life style more especially her dressing and her orderliness. Above all, she was a cheerful giver.

Mama I miss your conversations and greetings.

Your good works will forever be remembered.
