Grandma Aeroplane lived a fulfilled live.

An ideal African Mother, a godmother to my mother. Very industrious and a mother figure to all young ladies that came her way.

Grandma took my mother and taught her the art of trading which made my mom one of the industrious and prominent ladies in her time.

Grandma’s love for we the children and the  grandchildren was topnotch. Her generosity knows no bounds.  No one stays moody the whole day when Grandma is around you. Her sense of humor couple with care will always take care of that moody situation.

Grandma, God gave you to come and tutor and mentor us, that you have successfully completed and God has called you to be with him.

We will greatly missed you for the vacuum created by your departure but the the good legacy you bequeathed to us will speaking for you and to us as your offspring.

Mothers are special People and special People are hard to be forgotten. Today I extend my special love to the bereft family and on behalf of the Ganagana family I say we’ll miss you and I know you’re resting well cuz God love for mama can not be fathom due to her love, kind heart, respect & devotion for God. May her gentle soul RIP.

Mama, as you were fondly called, was a total woman to me because you were an embodiment of every quality that makes one a totally complete woman. You didn’t have formal education, but you were more intelligent, calculative, and productive than even the schooled. You were so organized and hardworking, your entrepreneurial skills were second to none. Your neatness and ability to accommodate all manner of persons was top notch. You were a shining example of motherhood. The earth has lost a rare gem, but heaven has gained a beautiful soul. You will be forever missed. Keep resting with the Lord.

Mama, you were very peaceable and you loved your only daughter to a fault. This clearly shown the way you passed on. I remember how we used to gist. I will sincerely miss you and the vacuum is huge.

Tribute to my Sweet Mama, Aeroplane Mary Daunemigha

Oh! my virtuous and sweet mama far above rubbies. Your death came as a shock to me. I visited your daughter to pick some souvenirs on that faithful day 24 of February 2024 and as I usually asked, “how is my mama”. She looked at me twice and responded “your mama just passed on this morning”. My system and body reacted immediately but with faith that she has just been translated I responded and said “May her soul rest in peace”.

Mama has been very industrious even in her old age. She was a seller of Holandis wrappers, Head-gears, materials for blouses and many more. Mama was an exemplary woman compared to others. She was a very neat woman, diligent and a very good counselor or adviser to people around her neighbourhood. She was very friendly to family members and friends. I always admired her life style more especially her dressing and her orderliness. Above all, she was a cheerful giver.

Mama I miss your conversations and greetings.

Your good works will forever be remembered.

Life is in phases and Mama walked through every phase with her head high above her equals.

Contentment, satisfaction and fulfilment in life is not attained only by material possession and academic excellence but but by accepting Jesus as Lord and personal Saviour .Mama gave her life to Christ and worshipped in the congregation  of the  brethren till her legs couldn’t carry her.

A woman who cooked her food,washed her clothes and ate from our labour till her last day on earth. Her cleanliness is next to nothing, she is clean herself. I saw Mama make her grandchildren her own children with utmost love and concern. A woman l admire so much and pray to be like her strong, disciplined industrious clean and forthright, Mama thank you for supporting your daughter all through, you showed you love her by dying peacefully without any hassles. We shall meet at the pearly gates by his grace. Adieu Mama

A tribute to the best Grandma I could ever ask for. Thank you for the sacrifices you made , for teaching me to cross the road in nursery school, for always being there for me, for giving me your laps to cry on whenever I was hurt, for tending to my wounds, for always trying to protect me from whatever, for always having solutions to my problems, for eating my leftovers up until this year, for your endless advice, for being a Mother!

20 years filled with amazing memories of you in my life. One memory I can never forget is the day you found out I got admitted into secondary school. You asked me to get 40 leaves note and pen and you gave me a list of things I shouldn’t try in school and the attitudes I should drop, you weren’t school literate but you were always so interested in me reading my books and getting good grades. That was the last thing you even said to me in Ijaw (take your education seriously)

Whenever you realized that I’ve been starving myself or I was sick you’d literally carry your wheelchair to my room door to check up on me and beg me to eat, you were always concerned about my health.

I know it was your time and God took you just the way you prayed he would but the house already feels empty and boring without you. The fact that I’d be going home from school and I wouldn’t be able to hug you, peck you and tease you by playing with your chin as I usually do taunts me but I know you’re in a better place and God’s time is the best. I’ll definitely miss your smile and laugh cause they could surely light up the room. Heaven definitely earned the rarest gem. I miss you already my love, till we meet again.

A Tribute to my Unique Grandma

Mama is unique, A woman of inestimable value. I sincerely appreciate you for the sacrifices you made for us your children. You did not get formal education yet a lover of education. You were a person of capacity who was more coordinated and achieved greatly than the schooled.

Mama you always celebrate my wins especially when it has to do with my education, you are amongs those that have pushed and motivated me to the educational levels I have attained.

Thank you for believing in my intelligence than I do, mama you were an exceptional woman and I’m grateful to be part of your lineage. You are neat, industrious, a great cook and so full of wisdom amongs other potentials you portray and everyone connected to you directly or indirectly could testify of your unique qualities.

The house is so empty without you    but my solace is that you are in a much better place. I really miss you mama, Rest on my lovely grandma. Till we meet at Jesus feet, Your first grand-daughter Tamaradouye.

Aunt Aeroplane, you were a dedicated person.Checking always on your loved ones.Asking to know about their welfare.

You were kind and loving.

Your passing came as a shock to me Mama. Sincerely, that Saturday morning, while observing my quiet time, I didn’t get the slightest sign that you would be leaving this world.

God knows all things; He knew from the onset when your time on earth would finally come to an end and chose not to disclose it for reasons best known to Him. May His name be praised still.

I thank God for the good and interesting life you lived – one void of offense towards others, you were a pacesetter, strong, daring, a disciplinarian, a lover of education, diligent in business, and much more. You were a rear gem.

In all, my greatest joy is that you abandoned that idol to serve the true and living God, in whose bossom you now rest.

Rest on Mama, till we meet to part no more.
